Julie is a licensed and insured massage therapist, as well as the owner of Therapeutic Connections Massage & Wellness.   She is a 1999 graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, and it was here that she gained her strong foundation in the Western massage practices and a passion for holistic health and wellness.  Julie is also a former teacher at Cortiva's School of Massage. 
       Her goal for every client is to design a treatment plan that will address their individual needs and educate them on ways to maintain their results through self care techniques they can do at home.  By showing exercises, stretches, or relaxation techniques, Julie finds that not only will it further enhance and extend the benefits of their treatments, but it also gives tools to empower clients to address problems that may arise in between appointments.  As martial arts and yoga practitioner, she also understands how the body works in motion and what it takes to keep it flexible and functional. In treatment, she will often blend muscle specific techniques that will address pain on a structural level, stretching and range of motion techniques, along with gentler Craniosacral therapy techniques that addresses the body's central nervous system. 
        In Julie’s pursuit to continually grow and learn, she regularly takes advanced continuing education courses suited to help her clients reduce pain, recover from injuries and maintain balance in their lives. Therefore, this combined with over 12 years of experience, her treatments are very integrative utilizing many techniques. Specialties of Julie are chronic neck and back pain, sciatica, headaches, ankle/foot & hand/wrist sprains and repetitive stress injuries, and sports maintenance massage & injuries.  She is endorsed by a physician at the DuPage Medical Group, (go to Dr.'s testimonial) and also is a distributor for Young Living’s organic essential oils which she offers for use during treatments and will make recommendations to enhance her client's health.  Some of her hobbies and passions are vegetarian cooking, spending time outdoors, walking her two dogs, animal rescue & volunteer work, yoga and martial arts.

       Christine is a Licensed Massage Therapist and member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. She studied massage at East West College of the Healing Arts in beautiful Portland, Oregon.  She focused her studies on Western massage practices such as deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release techniques. Over the last five year she has worked in numerous chiropractic offices before joining Therapeutic Connections. She is passionate about working with athletes and injury rehabilitation. 
        Christine is an active runner, and tries to run two marathons a year. In addition she runs shorter distance races between marathons to keep her focused. She practices functional core work for runners in an almost obsessed way and dabbles in yoga. She was also an elite level road cyclist before becoming a massage therapist.  Because of Christine’s involvement in these activities, she has gained knowledge and experience of the body’s proper, and improper, biomechanics during training and competition.

Jennifer Moody, LMT
      Jennifer is a licensed massage therapist and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She graduated from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard in April of 2011, where she was salutatorian of her graduating class.  Through her training, she learned about various techniques including Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, geriatric massage and comfort touch. 
      Jennifer’s goal is to give each client individualized, focused care based on their needs and comfort level. Each session is specifically designed with the client’s goals in mind, and is carried out in a respectful and compassionate manner.  She welcomes the opportunity to work with people of all ages, but she does has a special spot for the elderly and those who are in need of extra comfort and care.
      Jennifer has been interested in fitness and overall wellness since high school, and has run several races over the years including a half marathon and the Chicago Marathon.
